Dato che entrambi gli anime saranno proiettati in Giappone nel novembre 2018, è stata annunciata una speciale collaborazione tra Godzilla e Gundam NT.
Il capitolo finale della prima trilogia di film d’animazione di Godzilla sarà distribuito a livello nazionale in Giappone dal 9 novembre 2018 (venerdì), seguito da Mobile Suit Gundam NT dal 30 novembre 2018.
La collaborazione di artwork mostrano i golden highlights tra due differenti universi. Godzilla e Phenex da una parte, Narrative Gundam e Ghidorah dall’altra. Queste immagini verranno stampate come cartelle disegnate dal mecha design giapponese Hideki Tenjin, in omaggio a coloro che prenoteranno i biglietti dalle biglietterie ufficiali di entrambi i film.
La collaborazione è stata anche prefigurata dal film di Steven Spielberg, Ready Player One, che è stato pubblicato nell’aprile 2018. È diventato un argomento enorme sia nei fan che nei gruppi Gundam e Godzilla.
Ricordiamo anche che è stato annunciato una collaborazione tra Sunrise e Legendary Pictures per produrre un film live-action di Gundam. Anche se la data di uscita non è stata ancora annunciata, né sono stati ancora rilasciati trailer, c’è un breve teaser che è stato rivelato nel suo annuncio nel mese di luglio 2018 all’Anime Expo.
As both of the anime will be screening in Japan in November 2018, a special collaboration between Godzilla and Gundam NT has been announced!
The final chapter of the Godzilla’s first animated movie trilogy will be released nationwide in Japan from November 9, 2018 (Friday), followed by Mobile Suit Gundam NT from November 30, 2018.
The collaboration art shows both “Golden” highlights between two different universes. Godzilla and Phenex on one side, Narrative Gundam and Ghidorah on the other. These images will be printed as clear-file folders drawn by Japanese Mecha-artist Hideki Tenjin to giveaway to those who will pre-order the tickets from official ticketing booths of either movies.
The collaboration has also been foreshadowed from the Steven Spielberg’s movie, Ready Player One that was released in April 2018. It became a huge topic in both Gundam and Godzilla fan-groups.
Gundam also announced a collaboration between Sunrise and Legendary Pictures to produce a Gundam live-action movie! Though release date has net been determined nor trailers has been released yet, except for a short teaser that was revealed on its announcement back in July 2018 at the Anime Expo.
