Lo scorso anno il problema delle spedizioni ha colpito tutto il mondo e si pensava che il peggio fosse passato ma non è così, sembra che la situazione sia ultriolment peggiorata.
A causa della variante Delta del Covid-19 molti porti in Cina sono bloccati e le poche navi che riescono a partire sono completamente piene. A causa di questa altissima domanda e della poca disponibilità di container i prezzi sono decuplicati. Quando fino a poco tempo fa spedire un container costava circa 2000$ si è arrivati a cifre pazzesche come 20.000$ per un container da 40 piedi.
Alcuni esempi li abbiamo visti da Giochi Preziosi che ha subito sollevato il problema ma anche aziende come la Infinite Statue per arrivare agli stessi distributori di prodotti da collezione.
“ho 5.500 container fermi nei porti della Cina. Per sbloccare le navi e ricevere la merce le compagnie asiatiche ci chiedono di pagare cifre astronomiche: invece dei circa 10 milioni che abbiamo sempre versato per queste spedizioni, ora ce ne vogliono più di 60. Ci tengono in ostaggio dicendo che non ci sono navi a sufficienza da inviare in Europa. E in gioco per noi c’è la campagna di vendite di giocattoli per il Natale, che dovranno essere nelle vetrine già a ottobre. Ho 2.400 dipendenti tra Italia ed Europa e un piano importante di investimenti nella Penisola. Non voglio che siano messi a rischio, quindi sto pagando”.

L’incidente della Evergreen nel Canale di Suez aveva già creato problemi ed alcuni distributori hanno informato i rivenditori che le loro statue, busti sono ancora bloccati.
Scriviamo per informarvi che il prodotto 75185 / AMITRANO ON ALFASUD ALFA 1:18 RESIN CAR, con arrivo previsto per il mese di Luglio 2021, subirà un ritardo.Probabilmente saprete dai quotidiani e dalla tv che da diverse settimane alcuni porti cinesi sono stati bloccati a causa della variante Delta del Covid-19.La nave che trasporta il container con tutti i modelli di Amitrano on Alfasud è rimasta anch’essa bloccata in uno di questi porti (Yantian).Continueremo a tenervi aggiornati sulle tempistiche di arrivo del prodotto non appena avremo maggiori informazioni.

Non sappiamo quando la situazione tornerà alla normalità ma sicuramente questi rincari si ribalteranno sull’utente finale alzando ulteriormente il prezzo finale del prodotto.
Dear distribution Partners,As you’re probably aware the logistics challenges across the world are not abating, and in fact have been getting worse especially in the last 2 months.The rapid increase in costs and inability to get reliable shipping containers is the worst we’ve seen in at least 11 years, and we hear we have it rather easy compared to many others!Because the volume of shipping we do as a company, we are still reliably able to have our products transported, but it is not a smooth process and costs have been increasing substantially.We were hoping costs would abate; however, it appears it will be at least several more months and probably until the end of the year or later where costs are anywhere between 3-5x our average costs.Also, just for some situational context we wanted to give you some behind the scenes insights into the unique challenges we’ve been facing in shipping with some examples of the chaos.o We are finding containers that shipped first are arriving after ones that shipped weeks later.o Containers are being held up along the way without communication on where those containers are, for example a container could be delayed months at a location when we thought it was nearing it’s destination.o Containers that were shipped weeks apart are arriving at the same time which is not possible to turn around smoothly because of overwhelming the warehouses that need to unpack and ship the products.Again, we believe this is because of the extraordinary stress on the global supply chain.One of the areas of concern centers on release dates.We are unable to build in sufficient buffer to allow for certainty across the board or have enough space to store product while waiting an unknown amount of time for trailing portions of the production to arrive.We are working with our key distributors to take product direct to help alleviate container/warehouse traffic, including sometimes from the factory itself, but they are encountering similar issues.This is not how we want to do business, but we hope you understand that we are not taking these decisions lightly and look forward to a return to logistics certainty in the coming months/year.We understand our retail partners are facing incredible challenges as well and we hope to provide more positive news in the coming months and appreciate your support and patience as we work towards improving the situation.
